How much preparation is necessary to get our home on the market?
Your real estate agent knows best and will share with you his/her thoughts on how to present your property for the buyer's eye. Sometimes the "to do" list seems long and sometimes there are items that might not make sense such as "depersonalizing" your home. Grandson Simon is absolutely adorable and is the light of your life, but too many pictures of him scattered throughout the house are distracting. One or two pictures strategically placed are fine. Remember, buyers have an easier time visualizing how they would live in your home if less personal objects are displayed.
